HACIENDA HOPE CHEST

This chest with pinned lap joints is a very easy construction project. We detail in the plans the cover for the lock, which is made of 1/16" steel. This is easily cut with a saber saw with a steel cutting blade. The chest can be lined with cedar planking which is available at most home centers.

LINGERIE DRESSER

This special dresser, designed for a lady's use is one of our more popular designs. The design is very simple and the entire project can be constructed in a few weekends. It is sure to please and makes a great gift for Mother's Day, birthdays, graduation and Valentines Day. The original was constructed of red oak and hardwood plywood. The dresser has seven drawers with half blind dovetails. Our well detailed instructions insure you of a fine piece of furniture that she will love.

WIN A GRIZZLY TABLE SAW: We are pleased to announce the sixth year of our Furniture Design Contest. We will award a Grizzly Table saw to the woodworker who creates the best piece of furniture from an American Furniture Design Plan. The Grizzly table saw is rated by American Woodworker Magazine in a recent comparison of table saw, as their "Best Buy".  You may also submit designs of your own. You will need to supply two color photos of your piece, a front view and a side view along with a description of the materials that you used. Your photos will not be returned. We plan to have 3 finalists and from them we will award the Tablesaw on December 15, just in time for Christmas 2008.
